Tanveer Danish Khan aka Begum Sahiba Tanveer was the Main Antagonist on Zee TV's Qubool Hai. She was first portrayed by Nisha Nagpal and then Amrapali Gupta.
Biography[]
Tanveer is Asad's Childhood friend. She seemed to be a really nice and laid-back person, but her truth is not revealed until later in the show. She is revealed to be very power-hungry, evil, and manipulative.
When she came to stay with Asad and his family in his house for a few days, everybody was very welcoming, but nobody knew she was there on a secret mission to help Raziya find a doll. It is not known or revealed in the show how Tanveer and Raziya met, but Tanveer was in Asad's house on Raziya's orders. This said doll had evidence of a crime Raziya had committed nearly two decades before and she had paid Tanveer to retrieve the doll. She devises multiple schemes to try and retrieve the doll, and is eventually successful in finding it and taking it to Raziya, who destroys it.
Later in the show, Tanveer becomes pregnant and is spurned by Imran, the supposed father of the child who refused to believe that the child Tanveer is pregnant with is his. Tanveer begs him to marry her but he leaves her and does not want anything to do with her. Enraged, Tanveer goes to his home to confront and expose him for making her pregnant, but she is then ostracized and humiliated in Imran's home by Raziya, who makes fun of her for being blind from one eye and says that no on would ever marry her.
Imran's rejection and Raziya's criticism of Tanveer fuels her aim to seek revenge on both of them and she vows to marry a very rich and successful man in order to prove her worth. She sees all those characteristics in Asad and hence she decides that Asad is the perfect target for her not only because of his power and status, but also to hide her pregnancy. However, Asad loves Zoya and wants to marry her and as a result, Zoya also becomes a target of Tanveer. Tanveer flies into a jealous rage each time she sees Zoya and Asad together and she concocts many different ways to create barriers between the two in order to separate them.
Later, Tanveer discovers through Raziya that Zoya is searching for her father and that is the reason for her traveling all the way from New York to India. She also discovers that Raziya's husband Gaffur Ahmed Siddiqui is Zoya's father and that Raziya is Zoya's stepmother. Tanveer uses this information threaten Raziya and mislead Zoya. Raziya offers Tanveer a hefty amount of cash in exchange for Zoya's permanent departure from India (Zoya is NRI). Due to this, Tanveer is now even more eager to get rid of Zoya.
